Learning goals

The main objective of the Clinical Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona is to work on technical and non-technical skills to expand experiential learning for the critically ill patient, in order to guarantee a higher quality, safer and more efficient assistance.

Technical skills extend into different areas of knowledge, such as semiology, basic and complex airway management, vascular access, basic and advanced life support, ultrasound examination, ECMO, etc.

Non-technical skills such as communication, leadership and teamwork teach us how to resolve critical situations that we can experience, and give us tools to approach them and do a reflective analysis.

That's how we work
